About BGNI

Our History

Bring Good News was founded in 2001 by Gil Lozada.  The ministry was born out of his passion to unreached people groups.  Under Gil’s leadership, BGN partnered with national-led ministries and indigenous church workers to bring the gospel to unreached people groups.  This was accomplished through church planting, discipleship efforts, and meeting physical needs in the name of Jesus.  Over the years, BGN has partnered with ministries in Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Thailand, China, Tibet, Egypt, Mexico, Honduras and the Philippines.

Kyle Heinzman |Director

Soon after I began following Christ at the age of 14, the Lord started to stir my heart towards the mission field. This desire has grown even more over the course of my life.   In 2017, I spent the summer in Cambodia serving alongside a missionary on the field. Since graduating from Indiana Wesleyan in 2018, I have volunteered with Cru’s high school ministry at Fishers (IN) High School (where I went to high school) to disciple young men. I have also served with an inner-city ministry in Indianapolis that ministers to homeless young adults. These opportunities have only increased my passion for missions and reaching the nations for Christ.
